ANNUAL REPORT OF 2017-2018

Other dignitaries on the dias, esteemed Colleagues, Heads of various institutions, parents, invitees, well-wishers, Media Persons and my dear students. I deem it my privilege to place before you a brief report of the activities of the academic year 2017-18 of our College.                       

1.   About the College

 KITTEL ARTS COLLEGE was born on July, 1st 1988 as a result of the bifurcation of the erstwhile Kittel College into Kittel Arts College and Kittel Science College. The College is managed by Karnataka Northern Diocese, Church of South India, Basel Mission Higher Education Centre, Dharwad and Affiliated to Karnatak University, Dharwad. Bishop Rt.Rev.R.J.Niranjan is the President of the BMHEC. The Basel Mission Higher Education Centre is registered under Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 at Assistant Charity Commissioner’s Office at Belguam as a Trust E-39(DWD).The institution named after the celebrated Kannada Savant and lexicographer Rev.Dr.Ferdinand Kittel (1832-1903), who came to India as a missionary in 1853, deputed by Basel Mission, Germany. He soon gained mastery over the South Indian languages and compiled the voluminous and important Kannada-Kannada-English dictionary (1894).His life and teaching set an example to the young students to emulate. The College is situated on the State Highway 73 erstwhile known as Poona-Bangalore National Highway No-04 and is within the walking distance from any part of the city and accessible to all the necessary facilities. The institution aims at imparting a sound learning and liberal education. It provides instruction in Arts Stream at the degree level leading to BA Degree. The College aims at scholarship, fellowship and leadership. Its cardinal desire is to develop an all round personality of the young people with spirit of dedication for service. Hence our motto is   “NOT TO BE SERVED; BUT TO SERVE”. In 2016 Accredited with CGPA of 2.72 on four point scale by 2nd cycle of NAAC .

2.  Staff

The quality of an educational institution is measured in terms of the quality of staff members who carve the destiny of the students. In our college 13 permanent, 12 guest faculty and 05 administrative staff always work hand in hand for the welfare of the institution.10 teaching faculty have earned Ph.D. Degree in their respective subjects.

3.  Students

 The present strength stands at 547. The number of boys is 376 as against 171 girls.

4.  Result

The quality of any Educational Institution is measured mainly by the academic excellence of the students. Our college has been striving hard to maintain the best academic standards throughout the academic year. For the academic year 2016-17 over all passing percentage is 92.05%. We had 95 Distinctions, 28 First Class. Percentage of Male Students 96.34% and Percentage of Female Students 97%

5.   IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance Cell):

         The internal quality assurance Cell was constituted under the Chairmanship of the Principal in July 2009 .Since then to till date all activities of the college are conducted under the IQAC .Faculty training programmes, Workshops, Seminars. Programmes of cultivating students’ research potentialities, infrastructural development of the college, organizing UGC Sponsored Seminars, Workshops etc. are regular features of the IQAC. All the activities of various departments, societies, NSS and NCC are conducted under the banner of IQAC

6.   Student Mentoring System

Our College is committed to enabling students to access support mechanisms to meet their academic needs. This policy applies to all mentors and mentees who take part in the programme. It aims to ensure that students have the opportunity to work with a mentor who will offer support and guidance on academic issues. Thus, a personal relationship is created for better understanding of the student’s aspiration, strengths and weaknesses. The College is committed to regularly reviewing the effectiveness of the student Mentoring Policy and procedures and making adjustments as and when necessary in response to the needs of those involved.

This Policy is underpinned by the following key principles:

·       Our students must be supported to achieve their potential while at College, in an environment where their wellbeing is fulfilled

·        Students who are at-risk of drop-out will have the opportunity to work with a mentor whose role will be to provide them with additional support in academic issues.

·       There is an evaluation process for assessing the effectiveness of mentors and mentoring program and also for identifying the possible challenges.

·       Sharing of mentee Information- In case the mentor leaves, the information about the mentee needs to be shared with the new mentor. There is a handing over form which needs to be signed by both the new and the old mentor.

Responsibilities of a Mentor:

·       Each student is to be allocated a faculty mentor at the time of admission.

·       A mentor will provide support 35 to 45 mentees.

·       The mentors should try to understand their mentees and help their mentees settle well in the new environment.

·       The mentor will act as a guide, coach and role model for the mentees.

·       The mentor should interact periodically with the trainee to review experience gained and set objectives for the next period

·        The mentor will play a critical role in the mentees’ Internship and Placements by helping them prepare for the professional competence programme.

·       All mentors should keep a confidential data sheet about their students which records a report of mentoring done by the teachers.

·       These reports should be periodically evaluated by a team of senior teachers and its effectiveness should be monitored by a committee consisting of the Principal, Staff and the IQAC.

Responsibilities of a Mentee:

·       Mentees should be regular and punctual for meetings with the mentor.

·       They must adhere to the Mentoring Programme procedures.

·       They must attend training as directed by the mentor.

7.   Students’ Representative Council

 The Student Representative Council Convener Dr.Raju.G Head, Department of Education along with two student representatives from each Society formed the Student Council on merit and talent basis for the year 2017-18. Kum.Jyoti .A. Kamanavar and Mr. Arunkumar Subhash was selected as a Special Secretary of the college.  Inaugural Function of SRC





 Students’ Council for the academic year 2017-18 was inaugurated on 22-08-2017. Dr. John.S.Kuri Trustee of BMHECs, Dharwad was the Chief Guest of the function.

In charge Principal Dr.H.B.Neelgund Presided over the function. On the occasion Student representatives and convener of various Societies took the oath.

The Council conducted the following programmes for the year 2017-2018

1. Induction Programme:

 The College conducted Induction Program on 5th August 2017 for  freshers. Rev S.S.Sakkari was the chief guest of the function. In charge Principal Dr.H.B.Neelgund presided over the function.  All the conveners of various societies, NSS, NCC and Heads of Respective Departments were introduced; the facilities and the infrastructure of the College were made known to them.



2. Teachers Day was celebrated under the council on 5-9-2017





3. Conducted various competitions for students on account of Celebration of 155th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda




4. Celebration of Christmas in the college on 23rd December 2017. Rev. Nandakumar, In-charge Presbyter of Hebic memorial Church, Dharwad inaugurated the festival.

4. Organized various competitions on account of celebration of National Voter day. Topic of the Essay writing Competition- . ”Proud to be voter and Ready to vote”.  Topic of the Elocution Competition –”Our vote Our voice” 



6. Celebrated Kannada Rajyosava on 1st November 2017.


7. Karnatak University Dharwad and Kanaka Adyanapeeta Karnatak University Dharwad jointly organized a special lecture entitled “Prajaroupanyasa” on 17th January 2018.



8. Fun week was conducted in the college from 5-3-2018 to 10-3-2018.All the Students of our college celebrated the Fancy week with great gusto. Group Day, Fancy Day, Black and white Day, Professional Day, Ethical Day and Eco Day were the highlight of the fun week

3.   Conducted project trip and guided students to write project report on the topic “Areca nut production and marketing in North Canara District.”1.   Attended one day national level workshop on GST implementation in India organized by department of Economics Karnatak Univesity Dharwad.

2.   As Photography society convener, under his guidance, a Video shoot of the staff members singing National Anthem was shot and uploaded on You Tube. A short Film is being produced involving our college students on a social issue which will be uploaded on You Tube.

1.   Initiated a new programme Towards Community in the department to take students outside the class towards the society.

3.   Conducted project trip and guided students to write project report on the topic “Areca nut production and marketing in North Canara District.”

4.   Attended two days state level workshop on Gandhi and Socialism at Gandhi Ashrama, Arashikere on 29th and 30th July 2017.

5.   Attended one day state level orientation programme on GST in India at Mrutyunjaya Arts and Commerce College, Dharwad on 22nd September 2017.

6.   Attended one day National Seminar and presented paper on the “Role of Make in India and its opportunities” organized by Jagadguru Gangadhar College of Commerce Hubballi on 23rd September 2017.

1.   Attended two week Faculty development programme  on Entrepreneurship organized by NSTEDB and  Central University of Karnataka at Kalaburagi  from 30th October to 10th November 2017.

2.   Attended one day workshop on Curriculum Design on Entrepreneurship on 4th November 2017 conducted by Central University of Karnataka at Kalaburagi.

3.   Attended 7 days Life Skill Training Workshop organized by National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences at Bangalore from 12th to 18th November 2017.

4.   Dr. S. B. Nyamati and 41 NSS volunteers of Karnatak University Dharwad were participated in National Youth Festival organized by Ministry of Youth affairs and sports at Noida from 12th to 17th January 2018.

5.   Attended on day national level workshop on GST implementation in India organized by Department of Economics, Karnatak Univesity,  Dharwad on 22nd February 2018 at Manasollasa, KUD campus.

6.   Attended National Integration camp as NSS programme officer and Member of Organizing Committee from 12th to 18th March 2018.

7.   Attended and presented paper in the National Level Seminar on “GST - Its Challenges and impacts” organized by Government First Grade College Siggaon on 16th March 2018.

1.   On 21st January 2018 Dr. S. B. Nyamati attended as the Resource Person in the NSS Special Annual Camp organised by Department of Home Science, University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad  at Yattinagudda Villege and who talks on various Life Skills on the occasion

2.   On 22nd February 2018 Dr. S. B. Nyamati attended as a Resource Person in the NSS Special Annual Camp organised by Government First Grade College Alnavar at Kumbarakoppa Villege and who talks on save, conservation of water resources and importance of swachchate for overall development of villages

3.   One day workshop organized by  Zilla Panchayat Dharwad towards  “SWEEP” on 10th March 2018 . Dr. S. B.   • On 24-08-2017 organized a special Audio Visual presentation programme entitled “Nanukonda Hudugi”. All the students benefited this programme

    v Department of English

    On 15th Aug.2017, the Dept. of English along with the Dept. of Hindi undertook an outreach visit to the Senior Citizens Home located in Salkinakoppa Village. The students interacted with the inmates of the Home for some time. They also organized a beautiful cultural program. Thus the Independence Day was celebrated meaningfully. Mr. Kulkarni, Founder and President of the Home addressed the gathering and initiated them into the “Save Water Movement”.

    ON 25.7.2017, the department screened ‘Mill on the Floss’ for a better understanding of the novel.On 18.7.17 a library orientation program was conducted to acquaint the I Semester optional students with the relevant books.


On 9.2.18 the Dept. of English in collaboration with the Literature     Society organized a Book Talk and Poetry Recitation competitions. The participants discussed the books that they had read and recited self composed poems very enthusiastically.

On 24.7.2017 the following students were deputed to participate in the Quiz and Paper Presesntation competitions held at the Govt. First Grade College Dharwad.

Sr. Sheetal, Sr. Elvina , Santosh D and Sangeeta K.They bagged the III Prize.Apart from all these activities, the department conducted the regular activities like bridge classes, tutorials seminars and special lectures were done.

v Department of Hindi

Department of Hindi along with the Dept. of English undertook an outreach visit to the Senior Citizens Home located in Salkinakoppa Village on 15th August 2017. The students interacted with the inmates

Ø  of the Home for some time. They also organized a beautiful cultural program.

Ø  Celebrated Hindi day on 14-09-2017. A special Exhibition of Hindi Books was also organized in collaboration with Library and Information Centre.

 


 
Ø  The students of the Hindi department participated in the Inter-collegiate competitions organized by Ambedkar College Hubli.

Ø   Organized inter disciplinary programme like poetry recitation, Book talk etc,  in association  with the Literature Society

v Department of Economics 

During the academic year 2017-18 various activities were organized in the department. These activities not only provided exposure to the students, they also were of utmost importance to the society as well.

A special programme was conducted on 12th September 2017 in the department with the name “Towards Community”.  The students were taken to a nearby village Tegur of Dharwad District to provide various awareness programme regarding Swachcha Bharath Abhiyana and shouchalaya Nirmana Abhiyana. In this activity street plays, Jatha, slogan shouting and pamphlets distributions etc., were conducted along with local school students and teachers and gram panchayath officers, members.  Students also undertook Shramadhana activity.  Girl students also helped gram panchayath office in creating data base of the villagers.  



On 25th September 2017 students were taken to University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad to participate in Krushi Mela – 2017. Students were enlightened on the development of Agriculture in India.  The new development in the field of agriculture was 1.   studied by the students and their knowledge was carried to various surrounding villages.

                       

  A Live Telecast of the Central Budget was organized in coordination with department of Library science in the library Hall on 1st February 2018. Analysis of the budget was carried by Dr. C. P. Manohar and Dr. S. B. Nyamati soon after the completion of budget presentation.  Next day opinions of various Economists and political leaders were discussed in the class with the help of collection of various news papers. 


    A Project Trip was conducted to Sirsi on 6th February 2018 on the topic Areca nut production and marketing in North Canara District. Students were taken to Totagara Sahakari Sangha (TSS) and they interacted with the officers to study marketing of Areca nut. Later on students were taken to meet and discuss with the largest grower of Areca nut in that region, Dr. Abdul Rauf Banavasi. The project report of the same is submitted to the department. 



v  Department of political Science

Ø A special quiz competition entitled “Indian Constitution” Conducted on 26th February 2018. All the students of political science were benefited by this programme.

Ø “Mock Parliament” –A special practical oriented programme was conducted on 15th march 2018. Students of political science were benefited this programme.


v Department of Education

   The Department of Education conducted a number of curricular, co-curricular and extra co-curricular activities during the year 2017-2018. Bridge Course, Student Seminars, Group Discussion Tutorial class, Diagnostic Test and Remedial Instruction, Subject related Quiz Competition  are regular features of the department. Apart from these,  

i.           Video clip programme: A special Video clip programme entitled “Personality and Leadership” conducted on 24-3-2018 in Room No 04.




i.           Audio-Visual aids:  Students of second semester was successfully completed a special project work en titled “Audio-Visual aids”.

iii. Information Processing:  A Project on “How Human Mind Works as a Computer Roll” submitted by Fourth semester students under the guidance of Dr. Raju.G

Department of Geography

On 19/8/2017 we have visited Someshwar origin of the river Shalmala for field observation for the B.A III Semester students.


On 23/1/2018 we have visited Dharwad regional science centre with the B A I semester students. Students get an idea about the world of science by watching Taramandala.

Annual practical exams were conducted from 25/10/2017 to 29/10/2017 B A II, IV and VI semester class were started on 11/12/2017

On 16/2/2018 we have visited along with B A VI semester to the K M F Dharwad concerned to the field work on Dharwad Milk Union.

Department of Psychology

Ø  The department of Psychology conducted special orientation programme on 16th march 2018. Prof.M.C.Nandeesh deliverd special lecture entitled “Personality Development” Prof.V.N.Jamkhandi presided over the function.Prof. Ashraf Shaikh and all the students of Pschology departments actively participated in this programme.


Ø  On 19th February.2018, the students of Psychology along with faculty members visited to mental Hospital, Dharwad. Students benefited this visit.

9.  Report of Societies

v Fine Arts Society:

  The students of Fine Arts society have actively participated in Dharwad Zone Youth festival held in JSS College Dharwad on 1oth and 11th October 2017. The names of the students who secured places in the youth festival are

The above winners also participated in the Inter-Zonal youth festival held on 27th and 28th November2017 at Karnatak University, Dharwad. Miss Pragati Suryavanshi got II Place in Western Vocal and Mr.Arun Lobo got II Place in Collage

The fun week was organized in the college from 04/3/2018 to 10/3/2018. Many students of the college took part actively in different events.

The students also participated in the Unifest conducted by the Karnatak University Dharwad at J.G College of Commerce Hubli and at the Karnatak University campus, Dharwad. Kum.Pragati Suryavanshi Secured third place 

in Western Solo, Sr.Sheela Wagh and team won the second place in Western Group song, Kum. Somanath Kannolli got first place in Debate,Kum. Tanuja Domber Secured third place in Poster making and Calvin.g.Michael won second prize in Elocution

v Outreach Society:

Ø  A special visiting programme was conducted on 15-8-2017. The students of our college visited to Old age home and interact with them. Students also conducted special cultural progrsmme for them.

Ø  A special awareness programme entitled Swaach Bharat and Shouchalaya nirmana was conducted at Garag Village.






Rev. Ferdinand Kittel Memorial Inter-Collegiate Debate Competition was conducted on 15th Feb. 2018. Twenty eight students of different colleges were participated in the competition and  Mr. Ajeet Nadiga of MES College Sirsi bagged  the 1st prize, Miss Vijayalaxmi  Ganjigatti of Govt. First Grade College Shiggon 2nd prize; Miss Sahana Hegade of MES College Sirsi won 3rd prize, Miss Anupama Hegade of Govt. First Grade College Shiggon and Laxmi Samasagi of Govt. First Grade  College  Mundagod received consolation  prize.

1.      Miss Mahima N. Basutkar of IInd  semester students of our college participated in the Inter Collegiate debate competition organised by Vidya Poshak, Dharwad in the month of February 2018 and bagged II prize with certificate.

2.      Miss Mahima N. Basutkar B A II semester student of our college participated Essay Competition organised by JSS College Dharwad on “The Role of Women in Politics” and got consolidated prize and certificate.

3.      Mr. Shekharayya V. Kodikoppadamath, Mr. Rajashekar    Togimani, Miss Mahima N. Basutkar participated in the Inter -Collegiate Debate Competition organised by the Karnatak Arts College,  Dharwad on 18th Feb. 2018 and they got II prize with certificates.

Rajashekar Togimani and    Krishna B. participated in critical analysis of Nanna  Nechchina Pustaka   which is organised by 

1.      Government First Grade College, Dharwad on 28th February 2018 and gets  certificates. 

2.      Mr. Chandu Biradar  and Mr.  Yamanoorappa Bevinagidad of  BA II Semester students of our college participated Inter Collegiate  Debate competition on 24th February 2018 organised by JSS College Dharwad and they gets IInd  prize with certificates.

3.      Mr. Chandu Biradar and Mr. Rajashekar Togimani of  BA II Semester students participated in the Inter Collegiate Debate Competition held on 6th March  2018 organised by Hurakadli Ajja Law College Dharwad  and gets certificates.

         During the academic year 2017-18 activities began with selection of the secretaries. Mr. Arun Lobo was selected as secretary and Mr. Shanawaz was selected as joint secretary.

1.  Video shoot of the staff members singing National Anthem was shot and uploaded on You Tube.


1.  A short Film is being produced consisting of college students on a social issue will be again uploaded on You Tube.



 Students were taken to Sahasralinga and were explained about capturing of nature in camera. A collage of these photos was prepared by the students.



v Sports Society:

Sports Society conducted number of sports activities during the year 2017-2018. List of the activities are furnished below

  1. International Yoga Day  

Department of Physical Education along with 3/24 NCC unit organised International Yoga Day on 21st June 2017, more than 250 students were took part in the programme and special lecture was given on that day regarding history benefits of yoga. After special health lecture asanas like suriyanamaskar, salabasana, dhanurasana, halasanna were practiced.




2.   Health Awareness and Health Check up

 A Special Health Awareness and Health Checkup Programee were conducted in Room No 4. Dr Umesh Hallikeri Doctor,Dharwad Diagnosed the Students health and gave  suitable Suggestions and Treatment. All the Students of our college are benefitted by the programme  

3.   Volleyball and Cricket Matches

Department of physical education and sports of our college organised Inter-class Volleyball matches on 24-08-2017. From each semestertwo teams participated and second semester students won the match and sixth semester students got runner up.  On 8th February to 12th  February 2018 inter-class cricket matches were conducted and winner team played match with staff team.

 
 

4.   Felicitation to Sports Achievers

On 9th September 2017 felicitation programme was organised from department of physical education and sports the volleyball players who played International match at Bhutan as youth day celebration and won gold medal and students who participated National level were felicitated.

 1. Mr. Ganesh Rathods of B. A. I Sem Represented India in under 19 years Volleyball Match with Bhutan in Indo Bhutan Students Games and won Gold Medal

2. Mr. Kumar Chavan of B. A. I Sem Represented India in under 19 years Volleyball Match with Bhutan in Indo Bhutan Students Games and won Gold Medal.

5.   Walk for good health and kite festival 

Department of physical education and sports organised walk for good health programme and Kite Festival on 27-01-2018 at Someshwara Lake site and more students covered 6 to 8 Kilometres Hiking in the volley place of someshwara lake site and after that students enjoyed in kite festival

6.   Karnatak University Single Zone Taekwondo Tournament.

Department of physical education and sports of our college organised Karnatak University Single Zone Taekwondo Tournament for men and women and Blue selection on 11th 12th September 2017. 



7.   Karnatak University First Zone Table Tennis Tournament.

Department of physical education and sports of our college organised Karnatak University First Zone Table Tennis Tournament for men and women on 18th 19th January 2018.



8.   National Sports Day.

Department of physical education and sports of our college organised National Sports Day on 29th September 2017. Chief Guest of the Shri. S. S. Sinde (Rtd Sports Officer) explanted about Major Dhyan Chand’s achievement The National Sports Day in India is celebrated on 29 August each year. This day marks the birthday of Dhyan Chand, the hockey player who won gold medals in Olympics for Indiain the years 1928, 1934 and 1936. He scored over 400 goals in his career, from 1926 to 1948. Major Dhyan Chand Award ,the highest award for lifetime achievement in sports and games in India , and the National Sport day celebrations on his birthday.

9.          9. Annual Sports Meet 2017-2018

  Annual Sports meet was conducted on 20th January 2018 at R N Shetty District Stadium Dharwad. Dr.H.B.Neelgund In-charge Principal of our college inaugurated the Sports meet. All the faculties and Students were present in this occasion.

v Women Empowerment And Gender Sensitivity Cell

The Women Empowerment and Gender Sensitivity Cell commenced its activities for the year 2017-2018 on 27.09.2017 with the following competitions.

i) Hair Style ii) Rangoli iii) Collage iv) Cartooning v) Pot making vi) Spot painting.

On 13.10.2017 a One-day workshop on “Legal Rights of Women” was organized under the sponsorship of the National Commission for Women. 

The Workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Isabella Xavier, Founder of “Sadhana” Dharwad.  She spoke on the various Legal Rights of Women. Dr. S.R. Manjula, Assistant Professor, Sir Siddappa Kambli Law College, Dharwad who was the resource person delivered  a lecture on constitutional laws and regulations governing the safety of women.  Under the auspices of this workshop quiz and Elocution competitions were conducted on 14.10.2017.  The prize distribution ceremony of the same was held on 17.10.2017.  The cash prize were bagged by I. Krishna B (Quiz) and Rajshekhar T.  II) Vittal Reddy III) Rachayya Mathapati, Mehaboobsab , Yamanappa B,  Chandu Biradar & Bheemshankar Bhimaraya.

The college library is a precious storehouse of rare volumes.  The “ Kittel  Bandar ”  which is a collection of the literary works of Rev. Ferdinand Kittel is the most erudite part of the library.

 Books purchased in the library under fallowing grants for the year 2017-2018  College  section has 227 books worth Rs. 33,557/-. The total number of 236 books have been added to the library this year.

 The total number of books in the library is 29004.  Competitive examination (KAS, IAS, Railway, Bank etc.) books are also included.  The library is digitalized and is equipped with the appropriate multilingual software with Bar code technology to provide fast and efficient services to users.

Besides, the library procures 20 periodicals, 11 journals out of which 04 are international journals.  The library department is subscribed to INFLIBNET  (N-List) in which 31,35,000 .e-books and 6,000 e-journals are made available.

LCD TV facility is also available, this is used to project informative programs to the students, this is the best practices of the library.

    1.                Father of Library movement Padmashree Dr. S. R. Rangnathan 125 birth anniversary was celebrated on 12-8-2017 Dr. S. R. Gunjal, Senior Scientist of Library and Information Science was chief guest of the function. 

    2.                Department of library along with the Dept. of Economics screened the direct relay of Central Government Budget on 01-02-2018 in the library.

    v Career Portal Wing

     

    v  On 10th August 2017,  50 students were taken to Deshpande Foundation Hubballi  to attend one day work on career opportunities and soft skill.  The Resource Persons Miss Salma and Miss Priyanka were given details information to our students regarding role of communication skill and soft skill in career building.

    On 23rd January 2018 special programme organized in the college on career opportunities after BA. Miss Salma and Priyanka Giri of Deshponde Foundation Hubballi attended the programme and they explained about the career opportunities and they suggested taking the v admission for 3 month course on Soft Skill, Communication Skill  programme providing by the Deshponde Foundation Hubballi.

    v On 26TH February 2018 one day programme “Nere Hore Yuva Sansattu programme” jointly organised NSS, Youth Cross Society of Kittel Arts College Dharwad and  Neharu Yuva Kendra Dharwad  in the college. Dr. Rekha Jogul was the president of the function, and Chief Guest of the function was Shri Pradeep Melgade who spoke on the occasion towards career opportunities. And   Shri Veersh Savadatti,  Shri P.H Bedari  also talks to the volunteers regarding career. 

    v On 11th March 2018 One day workshop organized in the college on Life Skill Programme. Dr. S. B. Nyamati given the lecture on 10 Life Skills including Self Awareness, Empathy, Coping with Stress, Coping with Emotions, Communication Skills, Interpersonal Skills, Creativity, Critical Thinking, Problem Solving and Decision Making.

    v Eco club

    Planting the different types of trees in the college campus a special programme conducted on 14th October 2017. Ten Eksora and different hybrid flower tress also planted. Dr. Mattad Head, of Articulator Department University of Agricultural science inaugurated the function. He spoke on “Need of Clean Environment” Dr. Dr.Rajesh .N.Turmari Convener of Eco-club Dr. C.P.Manohar Member of Eco-club and Kum. Reshma.Nadaf and N.Manojkumar and the entire faculty were present in this occasion

    Youth Red Cross Society

     

    v  60 volunteers of Youth Red Cross Society were participated in the one day workshop on Career Opportunities and Soft Skill organized by Deshpande Foundation on 10th August 2017.

    On 15th August 2017,  35 volunteers of our NSS and Youth Red Cross society were taken to Ruddashrama for the purposes of creating the 


    v  awareness among the volunteers towards the problems of old age people.

    v  On 25th September 2017 students were taken to University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad to participate in Krushi Mela – 2017. Students were enlightened on the development of Agriculture in India. 

    v A special rally conducted on 12th August 2017 in Dharwad City towards Awareness on Swachchate and Cleanliness.  This rally was jointly organised by NSS and Youth Red Cross society of our college. Under this, volunteers were taken for rally from Karnatak Arts College Dharwad to Dharwad Market, during the rally we created various awareness programme regarding Swachcha Bharath Abhiyana, Health Awareness and Shouchalaya Nirmana Abhiyana. In this activities Jatha, slogan shouting and pamphlets distributions etc., were conducted. 

    v On 15th August 2017 and 26th January 2018 all NSS and Youth Cross Society volunteers were attended Flag Hosting on the occasion of Celebration of Independence day and Republic day celebration.

    v A special awareness programme was conducted jointly by NSS, Youth Red Cross Society, Neharu Yuva Kendra Dharwad, Gram Panchayata, Garag  on 17th September 2017 in Garag.   Under this, volunteers were created various awareness programme on Swachcha Bharath Abhiyana and shouchalaya Nirmana Abhiyana. In this activity street plays, Jatha, slogan shouting and pamphlets distributions etc., were conducted along with local school students and teachers and gram panchayata officers and members.

    v During January 12th to 19th Youth Red Cross Society and NSS Unit of the college jointly celebrated Swamy Vivekananda Jayanthi as a National Youth Week in the college campus and outside the campus. On 12th January 2017 at 10 am inaugurated the function. Principal Dr. H.B. Neelgund, PUC Principal Prof. Daniel Preveen Kumar and all other staff members, students, volunteers were participated. Prin. Dr. H. B. Neelgund spoke on Principles of Swamy Vivekananda. During the National Youth Week various competitions were organized at District level in different colleges of the district,  including Debate, Elocution, Essay, Quiz, Rangoli and others, our volunteers were participated in all competitions.

    v On 18th January 2018 rally was organized in Dharwad city by Youth Red Cross Society and NSS volunteers of our college on the occasion of National Youth Week.

    v National Service Scheme Unit

    The NSS Unit of Kittel Arts College Dharwad having 100 Volunteers one NSS unit and selected 100 volunteers as per their interest and talent for the year 2017-18.   Dr. S.B. Nyamati, Assistant Professor of Economics was appointed as NSS officer during 2015-16 who is continued for the year 2017-18.   The aim of the NSS of our college is to develop the potential strength, wisdom, idealism and enthusiasm of the volunteers into constructive social welfare.  The NSS imparts education through social service in creating awareness of unity and tolerance along with the leadership qualities among the students. The motto of our college is “NOT TO BE SERVED; BUT TO SERVE,”

    v  NSS volunteers selected as per their interest and merits for the year 2017-18. In the last week of July 2017 we conducted orientation programme to NSS volunteers. All 100 NSS volunteers were participated.  In the programme we guide, motivate and encourage them about the social services and  responsibilities also given tips for their personality development.

    v  During 2017-18 NSS unit of the college conducted 30 NSS parades i.e. Class Room Parades in Saturday, the Shramadhan Parades on selected Sundays.

    v  As per order given by the Joint Director of Collegiate Education, Regional Center Dharwad, 50 NSS Volunteers, Principal Dr. H.B. Neelgund and NSS officer Dr. S.B. Nyamati  were participated in the Inaugural function of Karnataka State Akkamahadevi Women University  at Vijayapur on 21 July 2017.

    v  Inaugural function of NSS was organized in the college, Principal Dr. H. B. Neelgund talks on the occasion. Dr. S. B. Nyamati talks towards the objectives of NSS and duties of NSS volunteers on 29-07-2017.

    v  Participated in the International Yoga day  organized by the NSS Cell Karnataka University Dharwad along with 25  NSS volunteers on 21st June 2017 at Gandhi Bhavan,  Karnatak University,  Dharwad

    v  The Vanamahostava Programme was organized during August 2017 and 15 plants were planted in Garag adopted village.

    v  Dr. S.B. Nyamati,  NSS Programme Officer of Kittel Arts College, Dharwad attended as Judges of Selection Trial Programme for selecting the NSS Volunteers of Various Colleges of Karnatak  University, Dharwad for pre- R.D. Parade, N.I. Camp and Other NSS programmes on 10th August 2017 at K.U. Campus,  Karnatak University Dharwad.

    v  50 NSS and Youth Red Cross society volunteers of our college were taken to Deshponde Foundation Hubballi and they were attended one day Orientation and Training programme on Career opportunities and Soft Skills organized on 10th August 2017 by Deshponde Foundation Hubballi.

    v  15 days Swachchata Pakhwara programme organized as per Govt. Order in our college from 1st to 15th August 2017 and undertaken various activities during the period. 1st August 2017 inaugurated the programme in the college.  Debate competition conducted on 2nd August 2017, quiz competition was conducted on 4th August 2017, on 8th August 2017 Swachcha Mahavidyalaya activities undertaken in the college, on 9th August 2017 Swachchata activities were undertaken in Karnatak University Dharwad, Dr. Promod Gai Inaugurated the programme, on 10th August 2017 swachchata activities undertaken in the college, and on 14th August 2017 swachchataprogramme was initiated on the vocation of  Independence on 15th August 2017.

    v  NSS Volunteers of our College Mr. Avvanna Pujari and Miss Nisha R.  attended selection trial of R.D. Parade / N.I. Camp and other NSS programmes at Karnatak University Dharwad, on 10th August 2017. Mr. Avvanna Pujari and Nisha R. were selected for Pre R.D. Parade and attended State Level Selection camp at Bengalure University, Bengaluru from 22nd to 25th Sept. 2017. 

    v  A special rally was conducted on 12th August 2017  in Dharwad City to create  awareness on swachchate and cleanliness . Under this NSS volunteers were taken for rally from Karnatak Arts College Dharwad to Dharwad Market, during the rally we created various awareness programme regarding Swachcha Bharath Abhiyana, Health Awareness and Shouchalaya Nirmana Abhiyana. In this activity street plays, Jatha, slogan shouting and pamphlets distributions etc., were conducted along with local college NSS officers and volunteers and NSS Coordinator KUD NSS cell, Dr. M. B. Dalapathi. This programme was inaugurated by our Vice Chancellor Dr. Promod Gai at KCD.

    v  On 15th August 2017 and 26th January 2018 all NSS volunteers attended Flag Hosting on the occasion of Celebration of Independence day and Republic day.

    v  A special programme was conducted on 15th August 2017 under NSS by name “Towards social responsibility. Under this NSS volunteers were taken a nearby Ruddashrama at Salakinakoppa near Dharwad for creation of awareness and social responsibilities among the volunteers towards problems of Old Age People. The 35 volunteers participated and performed cultural activities in the Ashrama and distributed Sweets, Fruits and Bread to old aged people.

    v  A special programme was conducted on 3rd September 2017 under NSS by name “Towards Swamadhana”.  Under this NSS volunteers were taken to Hosayallapur  Smashana and cleaning was undertaken in front of the Smashana.

    v  On 6th September 2017 a protection rally was organized due to bemoan the assassin chi of murder of social leader Mrs. Gouri Lankesh,  in Kala Bhavan and Jubli Circle. The NSS volunteers of different colleges and Programme officers were participated.

    v  On 7th September 2017 meeting WAS attended in the CEO office regarding the conducting of Special Annual Camp and discussed about the various activities undertaken during the camp including construction of Toilets in villages.

    v  Special Annual Camp of NSS for the year 2017-18 was organized at Garag, Dharwad Taluka from 13th to 19th September 2017. During the camp NSS volunteers constructed 45 Toilets in Garag and 15 Toilets were under progress.  During the camp various special lectures were organised on different topic including Health, Water, Environment, Sanitation, Rural development and others and different cultural activities conducted during the camp.

    v  A special awareness programme was conducted jointly by NSS, Youth Red Cross Society, Neharu Yuva Kendra Dharwd, Gram Panchayata Garag  on 17th September 2017 in Garag.   Under this volunteers were taken for rally to provide various awareness programme regarding Swachcha Bharath Abhiyana and shouchalaya Nirmana Abhiyana. In this activity street plays, Jatha, slogan shouting and pamphlets distributions etc., were conducted along with 500 local school students and teachers and gram panchayata officers, members.

    v  On 23rd October 2017, 58 NSS volunteers were taken to University of Agricultural Sciences Dharwad for the organisation of Sadhana Samavesha of Government of Karnataka. They worked as volunteers for smooth conduct of the programme and they have given responsibility of discipline in food court.

    v  NSS Unit of our college observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas on 31st October 2016. It is  a day  to foster and reinforce our dedication to preserve and strengthen unity, integrity and security of our nation by  Celebrating it as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day)  to commemorate the birth anniversary of  Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Dr. Rekha Jogul was the chief Guest of the function. Madam spoke on  the need for to create awareness among the youth about the unity, integrity and security. During the programme the volunteers  participated in the Oath taking ceremony

    v  On 1st November 2017 organized the programme on the occasion of Karnataka Rajyostava in the college. Dr. Rekha Jogul and staff members were participated in the programme.

    v  Dr. S. B. Nyamati was attended 7 days Life Skill training programme for NSS officers organized by National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences at Bangalore from 12th to 18th November 2017.

    v  On 26th November 2017 organized the          programme on the occasion of celebration of Indian Constitution Day. All Staff members participated in the programme and talks towards importance of constitution of India.

    v  On 23rd December 2017 one day Orientation and Training programme for NSS officers was  organized by the NSS cell Karnatak University Dharwad at Manasollasa Shri Arun Pujar, Director NSS regional centre Bangalore was the chief Guest and Dr. Promod Gai, Vice Chancellor of  KUD was the president of the programme

    v  During January 12th to 19th NSS Unit of our college celebrated Swamy Vivekananda Jayanthi was celebrated as a National Youth Week in the college campus and outside the campus. On 12th January 2016 at 10 am inaugurated the function. Principal Dr. H.B. Neelgund, PUC Principal Prof. Daniel Preveen Kumar and all other staff members and also NSS volunteers, students were participated. Prin. Dr. H. B. Neelgund spoke on principles of Swamy Vivekananda. During the National Youth week various competition were conducted at District level including Debate, Elocution, Essay, Quiz, Rangoli and others were conducted. NSS volunteers of our college  were participated in all competitions. On 18th January 2018 rally was organized in Dharwad city All NSS volunteers of local colleges were participated on the occasion of National Youth Week.

    v  On 22st January 2018 Dr. S. B. Nyamati attended as a resource person in the NSS Annual Camp organised by Department of Home Science, University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad  at Yattinagudda Villege and who spoke  on various Life Skills on the occasion. 

    v  On 23rd January 2018 special programme organized in the college on career opportunities after BA. Miss Salma and Priyanka Giri of Deshponde Foundation Hubballi attended the programme and they explained about the career opportunities and they suggested taking the admission for 3 month course on Soft Skill, Communication Skill training programme provided by the Deshpande Foundation Hubballi.

         v  On 23rd January 2018 attended programme on the Principles  of Gandhiji organized by Gandhi Pratishtana,  Dharwad

    v  On 25th January 2018 programme was organized on National Voters Day. Prof. Raghavendra Naragund delivered lecture on the occasion. During the programme oath given to all participants by Dr. S. B. Nyamati,  staff members were attended the function.  

    v  On 25th January 2018 swachchata activities were undertaken in the college for the Celebration the Republic Day on 26th January 2018.

    v  During 12th to 17th January 2018 Dr. S. B. Nyamati attended as a team Leader of 41 NSS volunteers in National Youth Festival organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India at Noida.

    v  On 22nd February 2018 Dr. S. B. Nyamati attended as a resource person in the NSS Annual Camp organised by Government First Grade College Alnavar at Kumbarakoppa Villege and he spoke  on save, conservation of water resources and swachchate for overall development of villages.

    v  On 25th February 2018, 38 NSS volunteers of our college participated in programme on the occasion of Alur Venkatarao Punya Smarane   organized by Alur Venkatarao Trust at Alur Venkatarao Hall. 

    v  On 26TH February 2018 one day programme Nere Hore Yuva Sansattu programme jointly organised NSS, Youth Cross Society of Kittel Arts College Dharwad and  Neharu Yuva Kendra Dharwad  in the college. Dr. Rekha Jogul was the president of the function, and Shri Pradeep Melgade was the chief Guest and talks on the occasion towards career opportunities for students.   Shri Veersh Savadatti,  Shri P.H Bedari  they also explained about the different opportunities

    v  NSS Volunteers celebrated NSS day, Gandhi Jayanthi, Childrens Day, Swami Vivekanandha Jayanthi, Valmiki Jayanthi, Mahaveer Jayanthi, Ambedkar Jayanthi, Karnataka Rajyostava and so on in the college.

    v  One day workshop organized by  Zilla Panchayath Dharwad on “SWEEP” on 10th March 2018 . Dr. S. B. Nyamati SWEEP Convener of the college and two student leaders were attended the programme including Yallaling  Pujari  of    BA VIth Semester,  Jyoti A Kamannavar of BA VIth Semester   regarding Voters awareness programme.     

    v  On 11th March 2018 one day workshop was organized in the college on Life Skill Programme. Dr. S. B. Nyamati given the lecture on 10 Life Skills including Self Awareness, Empathy, Coping with Stress, Coping with Emotions, Communication Skills, Interpersonal Skills,  Creativity, Critical Thinking, Problem Solving and Decision Making.

    v  During 12 to 18th March 2018 NSS Coordinator Karnatak University Dharwad organized 7 days National Integration Camp at Karnatak University Campus Dharwad.  NSS officer Dr. S. B. Nyamati participated as a Programme Officer and Organizing Committee Member and he taken the food section responsibility during the camp.

    v   Mr. Shekharayya V. Kodikoppadamath NSS volunteers of our college Participated 7 day State Youth Festival organized at Udapi from 21st to 25th August 2017. 

    v  Mr. Yallaling Pujari and Miss Reshma Nadaf were participated National Youth Festival Organized by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Government of India at Noida,  Uttara Pradesh from 12th -17th January 2018.

    v  Mr. Yallaling Pujari, Mr. Ramanagouda Patil, Mr. Promod Kodli and Mr. Yamanoorappa Bevinagidad were participated in the National Integration Camp organized by Karntaka University Dharwad from 12th – 18th March 2018

During 2017-18 NSS Special Annual Camp of Kittel Arts College Dharwad   jointly organised by Zilla Panchayata, Taluka Panchayata Dharwad and Gram Panchayata Garag at Garag from 13th - to 19th September 2017.  In the absence of Smt. Snehal R, CEO, Zilla Panchayata,  Smt. Ratna D. Patil, Member Zilla Panchayata  inaugurated the camp, she address the NSS Volunteers and people of Garag about the Importance and  uses of Toilets, Cleanness, Importance of Drinking Water, Sanitation, Environment. She also requested the people to use toilets and maintain cleanness, protect environment, she says that the environment will protect you in the future.

Dr. M. B. Dalapati Guest of Honour of the function talks on the occasion and says about the   principle of gram swaraj Mantra of  Mahatma Gandhiji.   Every villager must follow the Gandhiji Principles towards village development. And also requested to all people that to construct the toilets and properly use it for the Cleanliness  of the village. Dr. S. B. Nyamati also talks on the occasion and says about the responsibilities of the people for swachchate, drinking water, protection of health and environment and so on.               

Shramadan programme in the camp

v From 13th to 19th September Shramadhan activates were conducted in Garag Village. In the Shramadhana all NSS Volunteers and NSS Officer Dr. S. B. Nyamati himself participated and constructed 45 toilets in the village during the camp. This is the one of the best service rendered   by our NSS volunteers. According to villagers.  President of Gram Panchayata Garag and Panchayata Development Officer,  total value of the service created by the volunteers about Rs. 75,000/- towards construction of toilets and cleaning of sewages during the camp. During the shramadhan our NSS volunteers created the awareness among the people of Garag regarding importance of cleanliness, If there is no cleanliness it produces mosquitoes. The Mosquitoes are responsible for number of diseases and not give you the rest.  And also we created awareness on Health, Education, Forest, Environment, etc..  On 17th of September 2017, NSS volunteers, Primary school, High school and PU College students organised the rally.  During the rally awareness programme conducted on Swachchate and Cleaningness.  This rally was jointly organised by NSS and Youth Red Cross society of our college. Under this, volunteers were taken for rally from Garag Bus stand to all streets of Garag.  During the rally we created various awareness programme regarding Swachcha Bharath Abhiyana, Health Awareness and Shouchalaya Nirmana Abhiyana. In this activities Jatha, slogan shouting and pamphlets distributions etc., were conducted. 

Special Lecture series

On 14th September 2017 Shri Jeevan Ray,  Assistant Planning officer of Zilla Panchayata  Dharwad gave the lecture on “Toilet technology”.  He explained about the importance of cleanness, Importance of the use of Toilet, the government scheme towards construction of Toilets. He requested the people maintain the cleanliness, created by the NSS volunteers in the villages; do not put any things in  the sewages. He says that free flowing of used water in the sewages is the best solution for good health.  Shri Mallappa Hongal ( Mobile Mallappa) has lead  the Nage Habba Programme and says to the volunteers and people towards importance of Nagu.  He also explained various social problems  by using jokes. 

On 15th September 2017 Shri L.S. Ambali, District Health Education Officer talks  on “Environment and  Helath”.  He says good environment is absolutely necessary for maintaining the good health. He explained about effect of Mosquitoes on Health, and different types of Mosquitoes create various types of diseases.  He also gave some of the tips how to protect the health from Mosquitoes.

On 16th September 2017 Dr. C. P. Manohar Associate Professor of Economics of Kittel Arts College Dharwad spoke  on “Poverty and Rural Employment”. He says that born in the poor family is not your mistake but dying with poverty is your mistake. Therefore think about how to overcome from poverty. Dr. S. B. Nyamati talks on environment. He says about the role of environment in maintain the good eco system in India. Cultivation of plantation are important for protecting of environment. Dr. V. I Shaikh Associate Professor of Hindi also talks on the occasion.  He says swachchate is must you should maintain swachchate; it protects your health later.

On 17th  September 2017 Shri Bhimappa N.M.  Planning officer of Zilla Panchayath  Dharwad gave the lecture on “Sanitation and Government Programmes” towards sanitation.  He explained about the importance of cleanness, Importance of the use of Toilet, the government scheme towards construction of Toilets. He requested the people about to maintain the cleanness, created by the NSS volunteers in the villages; Dr. S. B. Nyamati, NSS Programme Officer and Assistant professor of Economics talks on Water Resources. Importance of water resources, sources of water resources, surface water and  underground water resources, effects of over use of underground water, how to recharge  underground water, the role of people to save water for future, i.e. rainwater harvesting and soon.

On 18th September 2017 Shri Chandru Pujar PDO of Garag Panchayata  talks on the subject “Women Empowerment and Role of Self Help Groups in Rural Development”.  He said that rural development depends on empowerment of all sections of the people in the village. All people must participate in any activities and work hard to generate income is the key for development of Individual. Women must organise the Self help groups and undertake any economic activities. Dr. Raju G.  Assistant Professor of Kittel Arts College Dharwad spoke on “Role of Education”. He says details of various problems of backwards communities in the villages.  He said  that Education is the weapon to solve all problems. There is more exploitation of backward communities, Education and Economic Empowerment is the solution. There are many Government schemes for education and self employments.  He suggest proper use the Government facilities for development.

         During the 7 day camp all NSS volunteers’ actively participated in all the activities. They organised NSS Flag hosting programme at 6 a.m. every morning. They invited Guest for the Flag hosting daily.  After the Flag hosting they participated in Yoga programme. During all days in the night from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. NSS volunteers performed cultural activities including Songs, Mime, Skits, Dance, One Act Play etc, at 10.30 PM all volunteers participated in Satsanga Activities on different topics.

         0n 19th September 2017 we organised valedictory Function of the camp. Smt. Ratna D. Patil. Member Zilla Panchayata  Zilla Panchayath Dharwad was the Chief Guest. She spoke  on role of the youth in the development of villages and urban areas in India. President, members of Gram Panchayata participated in the function. All appreciated the service done by the NSS volunteers during camp.

 

v 3/24 NCC COMPANY

JUNE:

1.   Guard of honor given to Group Commander Col. K V Srinivas in the college premises in the month of June 2017, 9 cadets Participated in the event along with NCC officer.

2.   Annual Training Camp held at Karnataka University, Dharwad from 19th June to 28th June 2017 30[SD] and 15[SW] participated in the above said camp.

3.   The cadet of our company secured second place in throw Ball, second Place in Volley Ball and first place in Drill competitions.

4.   Our institution organized the International Yoga Day celebrated in the college premises on June 21st, 2017 cadets of different colleges involved in the above said event.

JULY:

5.   Army Attachment Camp held at Hydrabad four of our Senior Division Cadets participated.

6.   NCC selection trails for the training year 2017-18 was held on 7th and 8th July 2017

7.   Kargil Day Celebration on 26th July 2017 held at DC Compound near Kargil Stupa

AUGUST:

8.   15th August Independence Day Celebrated in the College, the Cadets and the College Contingent participated in the District level Parade at R N shetty Stadium Dharwad.

9.   Rank Distribution Ceremony held in the college, cadets were decorated with different ranks.

SEPTEMBER:

10.       The Cadets of our Company participated in the RDC selection   held at   24        Karnataka Battalion NCC Dharwad on 20.09.2017

11.       Swatch Bharat Abiyan at our College Campus was on 16.09.2017

OCTOBER:

12.       On 2nd Oct 2014 Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated in our college under  Swatch Bharat Abhiyan the campus was cleaned by NCC cadets. The          Principal NCC Officer and all the teachers actively participated in the programme.

13.       RDC-II Camp Held at Police head quarters from 08th October 2017 to 17th October 2017. 5 SD and 2 SW Cadets of our Company Participated in the above said Camp.

14.       Combined Annual training Camp Held at Police head quarters from 08th October 2017 to 17th October 2017

15.       RDC-III Camp Held at Belgaum from 30th October 2017 8th November 2017. 3 SD and 1 SW Cadet of our Company Participated in the above said Camp.

NOVEMBER:

16.       Karnataka Rajyotsawa Celebrated in college by NCC Cadets

17.       The NCC Annual Day Celebration held at our college on 26th November 2017,

18.       Pre RDC camp held at Bangalore Cadet Swati Karant Participated in the above said event.

19.       National Integration Camp held at West Bengal from 26.11.2017 to 8.12.2017 I SW and  @ SD participated.

JANUARY:

20.       The NCC Company celebrated 26th January Republic Day flag hoisting ceremony in the college premises.

FEBRUARY:

21.       The ‘B’ and ‘C’ certificate Exams held at Hubli and Dharwad, cadets of 3/24 NCC company participated in annual exam for the training year 2017-18   

v Electro-literacy Club

As per direction given by District Controller of Dharwad District, we are constituted Electro-Literacy Club in our College for the purpose of creating awareness of Importance of Voting.  Dr.Raju.G Head, Department Education working as convener and four senior faculty working as member of this club. The club organized various competitions on account of celebration of National Voter day. Topic of the Essay writing Competition-. ”Proud to be voter and Ready to vote”.  Topic of the Elocution Competition –”Our vote Our voice”. Report, along with photos of above said competitions uploaded to D.C Office and joint Director Office Email address.

12. Infrastructural Development

The work of the Library II new floor has been completed and it is to be blessed and inaugurated in the month of June. It has 4 rooms. Geography, Psychology Departments and NCC, IQAC rooms and Ladies Room have been renovated. New Audio-Visual room is being getting ready. Drinking water system has been implemented in the campus.

       Regularization of online formative assessments and preparing question banks accordingly

14.      Conclusion

 

“The main aim of imparting education is not to impart knowledge but to make the recipient a human being”. Education without values would be only words without meaning. The education that is imparted in our college, I am proud to say, is real education where we teach our beloved students to be human beings with high moral values. I express my deep sense of gratitude to all who in their own way have helped in raising the institution where it stands today. I owe my gratitude to our In-charge Principal Dr. Rekha .M.Jogul for her guidance and support. At this moment I thank the President and Trustees of the management, and the staff of College.
